Course Guides: The Brabazon Course: Par: 72 Yardage: 7196 Handicap requirements: Gents 24 Ladies Juniors 32 Designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss, the majestic fairways and carpet-smooth greens of The Brabazon form a world-famous stage on which some of golf’s most exhilarating dramas have played out. Legendary in the world of golf, and the spiritual home of the Ryder Cup, The Brabazon’s perilous bunkers and lakes have tested some of the greatest players including Ballesteros, Woods and Faldo. The PGA Course: Par: 72 Yardage: 7053 Handicap requirements: Gents 24 Ladies Juniors 32 With its inland links appearance, this championship golf course presents a unique challenge thanks to harder and faster running fairways, quicker, wide open undulating greens, more severe run-offs and its cavernous bunkers, with faces up to 15ft in height. The PGA National is fast becoming one of the top courses in the country, having hosted two European Tour Events. Recognised by the PGA as a world class tournament course and the only PGA branded course in England, the PGA National is a must for golfers who enjoy the creativity and shot making required for links golf. The Derby Course: Par: 69 Yardage: 6057 Handicap requirements: No restrictions apply The Derby offers golfers a true test of golf on a parkland design. Featuring strategic bunkering, several water hazards and well designed risk and reward holes, The Derby is perfect for players of all levels. The course demands accuracy right from the 1st tee not to mention good club selection and intelligent course management.
